Moira Hagerlin

Violin

Moira Hagerlin comes to CMTA from Southeastern Arizona at the base of the Chiricahua mountains. She grew up in a musical home in Tucson where she began playing the violin as a little girl. She enjoyed playing in her school orchestra and then onto Tucson Junior Strings Chamber 1.

 

Her schooling included NAU in Flagstaff Arizona. There she studied with Mary Lou Galen and played in the Flagstaff Symphony while attending school. The next year took her to the U of A to study with Theodore McMillan and John Ferrell. While attending school, she played in the Tucson Symphony, AZ Opera Orchestra ,Tucson Pops, Ballet  Arizona, and SALOC.

She loves classical music and enjoys teaching all ages including adults and sharing her love and excitement of music.
